Visa has appointed Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan as its brand ambassador for India, unveiling a campaign called ‘Infinitely More’ aimed at the country’s growing affluent consumer segment.

The campaign centres on a shift Visa identifies among Indian consumers — from valuing ownership to prioritising experiences across travel, dining, wellness and entertainment. It is backed by findings from Visa’s own research whitepaper, ‘India’s Affluent Economy 2025–2026’.

Alongside the ambassador announcement, Visa launched Visa.co.in, a platform offering curated lifestyle benefits and rewards for eligible cardholders. The platform aggregates privileges across Visa’s network, which spans more than 200 countries and 175 million merchant locations globally.

The campaign film, developed by Publicis Groupe and Leo South Asia, features the soundtrack ‘Paisa Hai Paisa’ and includes callbacks to earlier Visa advertising — among them a tuk-tuk driver and an orangutan that appeared in previous international commercials.

Gaurav Ramdev, Head of Marketing for India and South Asia at Visa, described Khan as a natural fit given his international stature and aspirational appeal. Khan, in a statement, said the partnership reflected his view that meaningful experiences define a journey as much as the destination.

The campaign will run across digital and traditional media channels in India.
