HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank (KMB), YES Bank and AU Small Finance Bank have reported robust growth in deposits and advances in the first quarter (Q1FY27), per their provisional numbers.
The private sector bank’s deposits and gross advances increased by 14.7 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y) and 15.4 per cent y-o-y, respectively.
The bank’s period end deposits were about ₹31,70,500 crore as of June 30, 2026, a growth of around 14.7 per cent over ₹27,64,100 crore as of June 30, 2025, according to regulatory filing by India’s largest private sector bank.
Its period end gross advances aggregated to about ₹30,61,000 crore as of June 30, 2026, a growth of around 15.4 per cent over ₹26,53,200 crore as of June 30, 2025.
The share of low-cost current account, savings account (CASA) deposits declined to 32.35 per cent of total deposits as at June-end 2026 from 33.90 per cent as at June-end 2025.
Simultaneously, time deposits increased to 67.65 per cent of total deposits as at June-end 2026 from 66.10 per cent as at June-end 2025.
The bank’s period end advances under management (advances, including inter-bank participation certificates, bills rediscounted and securitisation / assignment) were approximately ₹31,27,000 crore as of June 30, 2026, a growth of around 12.4 per cent over ₹27,82,000 crore as of June 30, 2025.
Kotak Mahindra Bank
KMB’s total deposits and net advances rose 11.7 per cent y-o-y and 15.1 per cent y-o-y, respectively,
The private sector bank’s period end deposits stood at ₹5,72,822 crore as of June 30, 2026 against ₹5,12,838 crore as of June 30, 2025, according to the bank’s regulatory filing.
Its period end net advances aggregated to ₹5,12,171 crore as of June 30, 2026 against ₹4,44,823 crore as of June 30, 2025.
The share of low-cost current account, savings account (CASA) deposits nudged a shade lower to 40.32 per cent of total deposits as at June-end 2026 from 40.87 per cent as at June-end 2025.
YES Bank
YES Bank’s deposits and loans & advances rose 14.3 per cent y-o-y and 18.4 per cent y-o-y, respectively,
The private sector bank’s period end deposits stood at ₹3,15,397 crore as of June 30, 2026 against ₹2,75,843 crore as of June 30, 2025, according to the bank’s regulatory filing.
Its period end loans & advances aggregated to ₹2,85,315 crore as of June 30, 2026 against ₹2,41,024 crore as of June 30, 2025.
The share of low-cost current account, savings account (CASA) deposits (including Certificate of Deposits) nudged a tad lower to 32.7 per cent of total deposits as at June-end 2026 from 32.8 per cent as at June-end 2025.
AU Small Finance Bank
AU Small Finance Bank’s total deposits and gross loans were up 23.5 per cent y-o-y and 25.8 per cent y-o-y, respectively,
The SFB’s total deposits stood at ₹1,57,730 crore as of June 30, 2026 against ₹1,27,696 crore as of June 30, 2025, according to the bank’s regulatory filing.
Its period end gross advances aggregated to ₹1,40,460 crore as of June 30, 2026 against ₹1,11,614 crore as of June 30, 2025.
The share of low-cost current account, savings account (CASA) deposits (including Certificate of Deposits) declined to 28.8 per cent of total deposits as at June-end 2026 from 29.2 per cent as at June-end 2025.
