The Government of Telangana has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with JSW UAV Limited, a subsidiary of JSW Defence, to establish a Unmanned Aerial Systems manufacturing facility in the State. The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum Davos (Switzerland).
JSW UAV, in collaboration with a leading US-based defence technology company, will invest about Rs 800 crore to roll out the project. The project would generate over 200 high-value jobs, a statement from Telangana Chief Minister’s Office said here on Wednesday.
