The stock of Karur Vysya Bank appreciated 12 per cent last week. As it posted a notable gain, the chart shows that it has formed a bullish engulfing pattern on the weekly chart and the last week’s rebound in price came on the back of a long-term trendline support.
Given these factors, the probability of the stock to have turned the trend bullish and witness further rally in the coming sessions is high. Over the medium-term, the scrip can rise to ₹375. That said, there might be a correction to ₹280 before the next leg of uptrend. So, buy now at ₹295 and accumulate at ₹280. Place stop-loss at ₹250. When the stock rises to ₹330 and ₹350, tighten the stop-loss to ₹300 and ₹330 respectively. Exit at ₹375.
