Telangana Government will unveil its ‘TelanganaRising 2047’ vision document as part of its efforts to achieve a one trillion dollar economy for the state, according to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
Speaking after laying the foundation stone for the new facility of ICHOR Biologics at Genome Valley here on Tuesday, Reddy said the State Government was working to make Telangana a one trillion dollar economy over the next few years and would release the vision document on December 9, 2025 coinciding with the second anniversary of the Congress government.
Telangana attracted ₹3.28 lakh crore investment since the Congress Party assumed office in December last year, Reddy said, adding that his government would continue to focus on positioning the state as a destination for the ‘China Plus One’ strategy, which envisages investments by corporates beyond China with a suitable ecosystem and policies.
Acknowledging the role played by the pharma and biotech investors in the Genome Valley in the economic growth of the State, Reddy assured all support for the investors in their growth plans. “About 33 percent of vaccines and 43 percent of bulk drugs in the country are being manufactured in the State,” Reddy said.
