Asian Games 2023 September 29 Live Updates: Kiran Baliyan is currently running third in women’s shotput final while Manpreet Kaur is fourth. India have set up a blockbuster final against Pakistan in the men’s team squash. India are having yet another great medal-filled day at the Asian Games 2023. In the Asian Games medals tally, India are fourth currently with 32 medals (8 gold, 12 silver and 12 bronze). One again, shooters led the medals charge with a solid show. Palak and Esha Singh completed a historic one-two for India, winning a gold and silver, respectively, in women’s 10m air pistol individual event. India won a silver in Women’s 10m Air Pistol Team event too. Aishwary Pratap Singh was the star in men’s shooting by winning silver in rifle men’s 3-Positions (individual). Tennis stars Saketh Myneni and Ramkumar Ramanathan had to settle for a silver after going down in straight sets in the doubles final. Meanwhile, Rohan Bopanna and Rutuja Bhosale have entered the mixed doubles final. Boxer Nikhat Zareen enetered the semi-finals in women’s 50 kg boxing. Meanwhile, India have beaten Nepal to storm into Asian Games 2023 men’s team badminton semi-final. They are assured of a medal. The trio of Joshna Chinappa, Anahat Singh and Tanvi Khanna bowed out with a bronze in women’s team squash event.
