Prakash Ambedkar : पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी (PM Narendra Modi) हे आता देशाला धोकादायक झाले आहेत. त्यांना समर्थन देणार्या हिंदू संघटनांनी आता यावर फेरविचार केला पाहिजे असे म्हणत वंचित बहुजन आघाडीचे अध्यक्ष प्रकाश आंबेडकरांनी (Prakash Ambedkar) पंतप्रधान मोदींवर टीका केली. मणिपूरच्या मुद्यावरुन देखील आंबेडकरांनी मोदींवर निशाणा साधला. मोदींनी सर्वात आधी मणिपूरमध्ये मैतेई जातीला आदिवासींचा दर्जा का दिला? तशी मागणी होती का? हे त्यांनी स्पष्ट करावं असे आंबेडकर म्हणाले. दरम्यान, यावेळी बोलताना आपण आगामी लोकसभा अकोल्यातूनच लढणार असल्याचे स्पष्टीकरण देखील त्यांनी दिले.

प्रकाश आंबेडकर यांनी ‘एबीपी माझा’ला ‘एक्सक्लूझिव्ह’ मुलाखत दिली. यावेळी त्यांनी सध्याच्या अनेक राजकीय मुद्द्यांवर मनमोकळा संवाद साधला. मणिपूर, अविश्वास ठरावावरील पंतप्रधान मोदींचं भाषण, संसदेत राहूल गांधींच्या ‘फ्लाईंग किस’वरून भाजपनं उठवलेली राळ, नवी तयार झालेली ‘इंडिया आघाडी’, सध्याची काँग्रेसची भूमिका, उद्धव ठाकरेंबद्दल आंबेडकरांचं मत, महाविकास आघाडीत वंचितची संभाव्य एंट्री अशा विविध मुद्यांवर त्यांनी संवाद साधला. मणिपूरच्या प्रश्नाचा आर्थिक धाग्यानं विचार करता भाजपला जो पॉलिटिकल फंड मिळतो त्यात चिनी कंपन्यांनी मदत केली आहे का? असा सवाल प्रकाश आंबेडकरांनी उपस्थित केला. त्यामध्ये चीनने उडी मारली तर बोंबलता कशाला? असेही ते म्हणाले. मी अदानी आणि मणिपूर संबंध यावर नंतर सविस्तर बोलेन असेही आंबेडकर म्हणाले.

माझ्यासारखे भाजपाविरोधात असणारे तुम्ही का घेत नाहीत?

प्रकाश आंबेडकर यांनी भाजपविरोधी तयार झालेल्या इंडिया आघाडीवर देखील वक्तव्य केलं. या आघाडीत एसटी, एससी, ओबीसी नाहीत. माझ्यासारखे भाजपाविरोधात असणारे तुम्ही का घेत नाहीत? असा सवाल आंबेडकरांनी केला. मुंभत भाजपविरोधी पक्षांची बैठक होमार आहे. या बैठकीचे मला कोणतेही निमंत्रण नाही. मुंबईतील बैठकीच्या निमंत्रणाची मी वाट बघत असल्याचे आंबेडकर म्हणाले.
दरम्यान, माझे राज्याचे माजी मुख्यमंत्री दिवंगत शंकरराव चव्हाण यांच्याशी घरगुती संबंध होते. तसेच अशोक चव्हाण यांच्याशी देखील घरगुती संबंध आहेत. त्यांच्याशी राजकारणापलिकडचा संवाद असल्याचे आंबेडकर म्हणाले. दरम्यान, काँग्रेस नेते वेणुगोपाल यांच्याशी कोणतीही चर्चा झाली नसल्याचे प्रकाश आंबेडकर यांनी स्पष्ट केलं.

उद्धव ठाकरेंवर आमचा पुर्ण विश्वास

महाविकास आघाडीत समावेश करण्यासंदर्भातील जबाबदारी उद्धव ठाकरेंनी घेतली आहे. ते भूमिका पार पाडतील. उद्धव ठाकरे शब्दांचा पक्का माणूस असल्याचे प्रकाश आंबेडकर म्हणाले. उद्धव ठाकरे चांगला माणूस आहे. ते छान बोलतात, कमी बोलतात, पण ठोस बोलतात असेही आंबेडकर म्हणाले. आमचा उद्धव ठाकरेंवर पुर्ण विश्वास असल्याचे प्रकाश आंबेडकर म्हणाले. औरंगजेबाच्या मजारीसंदर्भात देखील आंबेडकरांनी वक्तव्य केलं. आम्हाला दंगल थांबवायची होती. म्हणून तिथे गेलो, म्हणूनच दंगली थांबल्याचे प्रकाश आंबेडकर म्हणाले.

विदर्भातील पाच जिल्ह्याला पावसाची प्रतीक्षाच, शेतकरी राजा संकटात

Vidharbha agriculture News : पश्चिम विदर्भातील अमरावती, बुलढाणा, अकोला, यवतमाळ आणि वाशिम जिल्ह्यातील अनेक तालुक्याला अजूनही दमदार पावसाची प्रतीक्षा आहे.. जुलै महिन्यात याच पाच जिल्ह्यात अतिवृष्टी झाली पण तरीही काही तालुके अशे आहेत त्याठिकाणी अजूनही पावसाने दमदार हजेरी लावली नाहीये..

बुलढाणा जिल्ह्यातील 13 तालुक्यापैकी 05 तालुक्यात अजूनही समाधानकारक पाऊस झालेला नसल्याने शेतकऱ्यांची चिंता वाढली आहे. जिल्हा मुख्यालयाला पाणी पुरवठा करणाऱ्या येळगाव धरणात फक्त 15 टक्केच पाणी साठा असून पुढील फक्त एक महिना पाणी पुरवठा होऊ शकेल इतकाच पाणीसाठा या धरणात शिल्लक आहे. धरण परिसरात पाऊस न बरसल्यास आगामी काळात दीड ते दोन लाख लोकसंख्या असलेल्या बुलढाणा शहराला पाणी टंचाईचा सामना करावा लागण्याची शक्यता आहे. बुलढाणा जिल्ह्याप्रमाणे अमरावती विभागातील अमरावती, अकोला, वाशीम आणि यवतमाळ जिल्ह्यातही अशीच काहीशी परिस्थिती सध्या निर्माण झाली आहे.

अमरावती जिल्ह्यातही दर्यापूर (56 टक्के ), धारणी (58 टक्के ) आणि अनजंगाव सुर्जी (68 टक्के ) या तीन तालुक्यामध्ये पावसाचे प्रमाण सरासरीपेक्षा कमी असल्याने शेतकरी चिंतेत सापडला आहे. जिल्ह्यातील इतर तालुक्यांमध्ये सरासरी इतका पाऊस झालेला असला तरीही काही ठिकाणी मात्र दुबार पेरणीची परिस्थिती निर्माण झाली आहे. पिण्याच्या पाण्यासाठी देखील दमदार पावसाची प्रतीक्षा नागरिक करीत आहेत.

अकोला जिल्ह्यातील पावसाची परिस्थिती काहीशी समाधानकारक अशी आहे. जिल्ह्यात ऑगस्ट महिन्याच्या सुरुवातीपर्यंत सरासरी 98.80 टक्के इतका पाऊस झाला असून जल प्रकल्पामध्येही पुरेसा पाणीसाठा उपलब्ध आहे. अकोला जिल्ह्यातील काटेपूर्णा ( 64.40 टक्के) वान (63.68 टक्के) आणि मोर्णा (68.41 टक्के) हे तीन प्रकल्प वगळता इतर प्रकल्पांमध्ये जवळपास 100 टक्के इतका पाणीसाठा सद्यस्थितीत उपलब्ध आहे.

वाशीम जिल्ह्यातील पावसाची परिस्थिती पाहता जिल्ह्यात यंदाही सरासरी इतका पाऊस पडल्याचे चित्र आहे. वाशीम जिल्ह्यातील मागील दोन महिन्यातील पावसाची परिस्थिती पाहता वाशीम 70.09 टक्के, रिसोड 85.01 टक्के, मालेगाव 104.07 टक्के, मंगरूळपीर 129.01 टक्के, मानोरा 105.09 टक्के आणि कारंजा लाड 109.05 टक्के इतका पाऊस झाल्याची नोंद आहे.

यवतमाळ जिल्ह्यातील 16 तालुक्यांपैकी पुसद तालुक्यात 53 टक्के इतका तर उर्वरित 15 तालुक्यामध्ये 60 टक्क्यांपेक्षा जास्त पाऊस झाल्याची नोंद आहे. जिल्ह्यातील पावसाची एकूण सरासरी पाहता 64.42 टक्के इतक्या पावसाची नोंद झाली आहे. जिल्ह्यातील पुसद (44.28 टक्के), राळेगांव (52.52 टक्के ) आणि वणी (52.53 टक्के ) हे तीन तालुके वगळता इतर तालुक्यामध्ये पावासाची परिस्थिती चांगली असल्याचे चित्र आहे…

Actor Anjali Anand recently made her Bollywood debut in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. She played Ranveer Singh’s “overweight” sister, Gayatri in the film. Since her debut performance, the actor has been garnering appreciation for her impactful confrontation scene. In a recent interview, the actor spoke about she always believed in herself, despite people trying to demoralise her because of her looks.

Talking to Siddharth Kannan in an interview, Anjali said, “Usually in movies, even in older Karan Johar films, there are these characters, like Miss Mimi, who are sitting and eating french fries, burgers, food is spilling out of their mouth, we didn’t know better. We did not know that we should not show a person, a fat person, just eating all the time.”

According to an Indian Express report, Anjali was presumably referring to Miss Mimi from Aamir Khan and Madhuri Dixit’s 1990 film Dil.

Talking about the way Gayatri’s character was written, Anjali said, “There was an opportunity to turn the page and make that person come out and say it.” In the film, Gayatri breaks into a monologue and calls her family out for attacking her esteem by constantly commenting on her weight and eating habits. She confronts them for calling her ‘Golu’ instead of ‘Gayatri’ all her life.

This particular scene resonated well with the audience. Mirroring their sentiment, Anjali said, “I don’t think I am less than the next person just because I look a certain way. I have complete faith in my talent and intent. I know what I bring to the table.”

The actor, who is currently seen on Rohit Shetty’s show Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, also made a similar statement after completing a challenging stunt on the show. She said that people often assume what she can and cannot do because of her looks, however, she has always proved them wrong.

Anjali recalled that 10 years ago she had joined an acting school, and people would tell her that she will never become an actor. However, Anjali’s goals were always clear. “I said, ‘I don’t want to be the best friend who is eating burgers on the side, I want to be the lead of the show or whatever I am doing’,” she said. The actor then starred as the lead in TV shows including Dhai Kilo Prem and Kulfi Kumar Bajewala.

However, she revealed that after landing her second lead role on TV, many people suspected that she had given sexual favours in exchange. “When I got Kulfi, which was my second show, people have DMed me, 100s of DMs saying ‘Who gives a fat girl a second show as a lead? I am sure she must be sleeping with someone’. And I am wondering, these people think you won’t get work without sleeping with someone? It is stupid that we are still talking about all of this,” she said.

Accusing the Congress government of creating a problem for Tamil Nadu’s farmers, AIADMK general secretary K Palaniswami said the Chief Minister should hold parleys with his counterpart Siddaramaiah and deputy chief Minister D K Shivakumar and obtain the Cauvery water

The opposition AIADMK on Saturday demanded Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin to negotiate with his Karnataka counterpart and secure 86.380 TMC Cauvery water due for the state.

Accusing the Congress government of creating a problem for Tamil Nadu’s farmers, AIADMK general secretary K Palaniswami said the Chief Minister should hold parleys with his counterpart Siddaramaiah and deputy chief Minister D K Shivakumar and obtain the Cauvery water.

“Currently, the reservoirs in Karnataka have storage of about 80 per cent. Stalin should visit Bengaluru and hold talks with Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar, who are part of his alliance, and obtain 86.360 TMC water due for June, July and this August and save the Kuruvai paddy crop raised on 3.5 lakh acres which is on the verge of wilting,” Palaniswami said in a statement here.

He said the Cauvery water issue resurfaced after DMK’s ally, the Congress, came to power in Karnataka.

The AIADMK had since the era of later Chief Ministers: M G Ramachandran and J Jayalalithaa and even when he was CM, safeguarded the interests of the state, Palaniswami said and recalled the hard-won legal battle leading to Tamil Nadu obtaining its due share from the Cauvery water.

Taking exception to the DMK government for dashing off a missive to the Centre seeking its intervention to obtain the Cauvery water from the neighbouring state, Palaniswami said whenever he wrote a letter to the Prime Minister, in his capacity as Chief Minister, Stalin ridiculed it.

“But, he is writing letters on this issue. What’s the mystery behind his letters to the Prime Minister and Central Ministers? Is he prostrating before them?” Palaniswami asked.

It was reprehensible that Stalin wrote to the Central government instead of exercising Tamil Nadu’s rights. Karnataka, the former Chief Minister said, was duty bound to implement the Supreme Court order on releasing the water to Tamil Nadu.

“It is also the duty and responsibility of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister to rebuke his ally and ensure it released the water,” Palaniswami said in the statement.

Claiming that media reports indicated that Karnataka Deputy CM ordered a land survey to construct the Mekedatu dam across the Cauvery River, the AIADMK general secretary called upon the DMK government to take steps to immediately stop the work and prevent Tamil Nadu from turning into a desert.

NorthEast United FC got their Durand Cup 2023 campaign off to a brilliant start as they registered a 4-0 win over Shillong Lajong in the North East derb.

Assam boy Parthib Gogoi netted his first hat trick at the senior level at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium on Friday while Romain Philippoteaux added the other goal for the Highlanders.

The Highlanders appeared the more organized side from the moment the referee blew his whistle and their upper hand in the game finally paid dividends in the 26th minute of the first half.

Rochharzela turned his marker and made a run inside the top of the box to unleash a pile-driver which dipped under slippery ground conditions in front of Shillong keeper Neithovilie Chalieu. The custodian managed to parry it away feebly and it fell on a platter for a young and lurking Parthib Gogoi who deftly lobbed Chalieu to open the scoring.

That lead was doubled when Romain Philippoteaux drove in skillfully to send the Shillong defence in disarray, resulting in Kenstar bringing the Frenchman down inside the box. The referee had no hesitation in pointing to the spot and Romain made a mistake in finishing what he had begun.

With the score still reading 2-0 in favour of the Highlanders, Jithin MS, who came on in the second half, set up Parthib with a good cross five minutes post commencement, but the young striker’s attempt was straight at Chalieu.

Both coaches, Spaniard Juan Pedro Ben Ali and Shillong’s Bobby Lyngdoh kept ringing in the changes at the hour mark, but it was NEUFC which reaped the dividends, thanks to Parthib’s awareness inside the box and clinical finishing.

Phalguni Singh it was, who found the run of yet another substitute Gani Nigam on the right. Gani fended off his marker and found Parthib in the clear who tapped in for the third.

The local lad then completed his hattrick when Philippoteaux found Jithin with an impeccable through on the left flank and this time, Parthib made no mistake with the cross, sliding in to beat Chalieu for the third time himself and fourth time overall in the match.

To Shillong’s credit and has been their credo, they did not stop running and chasing the game and trying to pull one back, but there was nothing serious to challenge NEUFC keeper Mirshad and in the end it was a canter for the Highlanders.

The win will be crucial with FC Goa and Downtown Heroes of Kashmir coming up next for both the teams.

The game was preceded by an elaborate cultural programme and opening ceremony with Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in attendance.
