Apple sells 2 million iPhones in India during Q4 2022; logs 18% growth

According to the latest CMR data, 14 series logged 59 per cent market share in Q4 2022, followed by 13 series at 32 per cent growth.

Apple became the first smartphone player in India to have exported $1 billion worth iPhones in the month of December. It currently manufactures iPhones 12, 13, 14 and 14 Plus in the country.

Acer Aspire 3: Specifications


The Acer Aspire 3 laptop sports a 15.6-inch fullHD screen with Acer BlueLightShield technology, which is said to lower the blue light exposure – responsible for eye fatigue – on users. It features Acer TNR solution, which captures images by detecting and diagnosing noisy pixels and blends into other frames to produce improved quality images – especially in dark screen zones.


The laptop is said to feature an enhanced thermal system with up to 78 per cent increase in fan surface area, compared to last generation model. According to Acer, the new thermal system helps maintain peak performance by controlling component overheating.


The Acer Aspire 3 is a compact laptop. It weighs 1.6 kg and measures 18.9 mm at its thinnest side. It comes in silver colour. It boasts a full-function USB type-C port, Wi-Fi 6E, and HDMI 2.1. On the software side, it features Acer PurifiedVoice with AI noise reduction, which is said to suppress background noise for both users. According to Acer, this noise reduction feature is compatible with external headphones and mics.

Acer launches new laptop with AMD Ryzen 7000 series processor in India







Taiwanese company on Monday launched its new laptop which features the latest AMD Ryzen 7000 series processor, a 15.6-inch Full-HD display and much more, in the country.


The new ‘Aspire 3’ is available from Rs 47,990 on Exclusive Stores, E-store, Vijay Sales, Amazon and Acer stores, the company said in a statement.


The new laptop comes with a “6nm Zen 2 architecture with up to 4 Cores and 8 threads which converts to astonishing performance, smart battery management and enhanced audio and video streaming quality.”


With 78 per cent increase in fan surface area, the laptop provides an enhanced thermal system and an additional 17 per cent thermal capacity.


“Due to its combination of potent performance and affordable pricing, our Aspire series has consistently been a favourite among multitaskers looking for everyday performance,” said Sudhir Goel, chief business officer, Acer India.


“Our deep partnership with AMD ensured we co-created one of the best everyday performance laptop in the market,” Goel added.


The new Aspire 3 weighs 1.6kg and is 18.9mm in thickness.
