Chinese electronics maker Lenovo on Monday refreshed the Yoga 9i laptop with 13th Gen Intel Core processors. Priced Rs 1,74,990 onwards, the laptop will be available for purchase from January 29 on Lenovo, Croma, Reliance online stores, and Amazon India. It is currently available for pre-order on Lenovo’s website.

Lenovo Yoga 9i laptop: Specifications
The Yoga 9i laptop is powered by the 13th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, coupled with integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics. It boasts a 14-inch touchscreen OLED display with 400nits brightness, and 4K resolution. Made from aluminium, the laptop weighs around 1.4 kg.
The device is powered by an integrated 75Wh battery with a 100W USB-C charging slot. It comes with 16GB LPDDR5-5200 RAM and 1TB SSD storage. The Yoga 9i camera offers FHD 1080p+ image resolution and comes with a privacy shutter to cover the sensor when not in use. The stereo speakers feature Dolby Atmos technology with audio supported by Bowers & Wilkins sound systems.
Among other features, the laptop boasts a touch-style fingerprint reader, 12-hour online video playback time, and a 2x Array microphone. Launched in an oatmeal colour variant, it comes with Lenovo Precision Pen 2 for touch operations.
Additionally, the device is secured by Lenovo Smart Performance Services and Lenovo Premium Care Plus hardware and software support.

Microsoft has introduced ‘polls’ that will offer users a way to create polls right away with the Microsoft Forms app, making meetings more engaging in Teams.
This feature will allow users to get the answers they’re looking for without leaving their meeting or group chat, according to an official report.
To post a poll in a Teams channel or get instant feedback in a chat pane, go to the channel or chat you want to include a poll in, then at the bottom of your Teams window, select Forms, then add your question – and – Answer options.
Furthermore, if you want to allow multiple answers, click or tap the toggle next to Multiple answers, also select whether you want to share results automatically after voting and/or keep responses anonymous, then select Save.
Finally, preview your poll, and then click Edit if you want to make changes or click Send if you’re ready to post it.
The group conversation will display real-time poll results as users take the poll, said the report.

Priced at Rs 1,799, the wireless earbuds will be available in clear white and clear black colours on Noise’s official website, Amazon, and Flipkart starting November 24.

The Air Buds 2 is a pair of half in-ear wireless earbuds featuring a case with translucent lid. It is IPX4 rated for sweat and water resistance. The earbuds feature 13mm audio drivers and boast up to 40 hours of battery life with a charging case. It comes with a USB Type-C port for charging. Noise says these earbuds can deliver up to 4 hours of playtime with 10 minutes of charging.
The earbuds have Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless connectivity, offering wake and pair features. For Bluetooth calling, it packs a built-in quad microphone setup. It is compatible with both Android and iOS devices and has support for Google Assistant and Siri voice assistant. These have touch buttons to control music, adjust volume, and receive/reject calls. Besides, the earbuds also offer environmental noise cancellation (ENC) to eliminate unwanted sound.

Expanding its audio line-up, home-grown electronic maker Zebronics on Thursday launched the ZEB-Juke Bar 9750. Priced at Rs 22,999, the soundbar will be available on the e-commerce platform Amazon from November 24. It is the first by the Indian brand to boast Dolby Atmos and wireless rear satellite speakers, said the company in a statement.

Apple has partnered with medical records company Epic Systems to bring a health record tool on macOS.
Apple wanted Epic Systems to develop a native version of the tool for macOS, but the latter is instead working on one that would be simpler to use than a native application, reports AppleInsider.
Epic Systems is the largest provider of electronic health records in the US.
A report from 2021 claimed that over 250 million patients have a medical record kept by Epic Systems.
Last month, Apple’s latest update of macOS Ventura had introduced a “Continuity Camera” feature that allowed users to connect their iPhone to a Mac to use it as a webcam with applications like FaceTime or Zoom.
With the new feature, users were able to use their iPhone as a web camera by wirelessly connecting it to their Mac.
