Chaos erupted at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on July 18 after a woman allegedly threw an ink-like liquid at Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke while he was addressing supporters at the protest site. The incident briefly disrupted the programme as supporters rushed towards the stage, triggering a commotion. Dipke later shared a video of the incident and posted, “Blue is my colour… Jai Bhim!” The woman’s identity and the motive behind the act were not immediately known. The incident comes amid an ongoing protest at Jantar Mantar, where Dipke began an indefinite hunger strike following the removal of climate activist Sonam Wangchuk from the protest site.
