South Indian Bank has launched SIB Her Account, a premium savings account exclusively designed for women.
The product aims to empower and reward today’s financially independent women by offering a host of attractive banking and lifestyle privileges, combining financial benefits with personal well-being and convenience, a press release said.
It comes with an array of exclusive benefits such as a premium debit card, locker rent offers, retail loan concessions, add-on accounts for family members, and comprehensive insurance coverage.
Biji S S, Senior General Manager & Head – Branch Banking of South Indian Bank said, “Through this initiative, we aim to empower women by combining financial independence with lifestyle benefits, ensuring they enjoy premium banking privileges, comprehensive financial protection, and focused support for asset creation.”
The SIB HER Account is available to women between the ages of 18 and 54 years. Customers are required to maintain a monthly balance of ₹50,000; however, this requirement is waived if they maintain a fixed deposit of ₹1 lakh or achieve debit card transactions of ₹50,000 in the previous month.
