The Telangana Cabinet on Thursday asked the striking Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) employees to be patient and avoid hasty decisions as the State Government is willing to engage in a dialogue to resolve their issues.
Disclosing the decisions of the Cabinet meeting held today, Ministers D Sridhar Babu and Ponnam Prabhakar said the Cabinet discussed the demands of the employees in detail. The Chief Minister directed the ministers to hold talks with the workers.
A group of ministers led by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu will hold discussions with the representatives of the employees on Friday.
Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy said the previous government had kept ₹6,000 crore in retirement benefits pending. The Government is willing to release the funds, he added.
