भारत और साउथ अफ्रीका के बीच तीसरा वनडे मैच सिर्फ सीरीज का निर्णायक मुकाबला नहीं, बल्कि विराट कोहली के लिए एक और ऐतिहासिक दिन साबित हो सकता है. ACA-VDCA क्रिकेट स्टेडियम, विशाखापत्तनम में होने वाला यह मैच कोहली को वनडे क्रिकेट में लगातार तीन शतक लगाने का मौका दे रहा है, जो अब तक सिर्फ कुछ ही बल्लेबाजों ने हासिल किया है.

कोहली का फॉर्म सीरीज में बेहतरीन रहा

इस सीरीज के पहले दोनों मैचों में विराट कोहली का बल्ला जमकर बोला. पहले रायपुर और फिर रांची में उन्होंने शानदार शतक लगाए. दोनों मैचों में कोहली ने जिस तरह शुरुआती गेंदों से ही अटैक करना शुरू किया, उसने दिखा दिया कि यह स्टार बल्लेबाज अपने करियर के सुनहरे दौर की फिर से याद दिला रहा है.

ऐसे में तीसरे वनडे में भी उनकी पारी पर सबकी नजरें होंगी. अगर कोहली यहां भी शतक जड़ते हैं, तो वह वनडे में लगातार तीन शतक लगाने वाले एलीट क्लब में दोबारा शामिल हो जाएंगे.

पहले भी कर चुके हैं शतकों की हैट्रिक

कोहली इससे पहले भी यह कारनामा कर चुके हैं. साल 2018 में वेस्टइंडीज के खिलाफ घरेलू सीरीज में उन्होंने गुवाहाटी (140), विशाखापत्तनम (157*) और पुणे (107) में लगातार तीन शतक ठोके थे. भारत के लिए ऐसा करने वाले वह पहले खिलाड़ी थे. बाद में रोहित शर्मा ने भी 2019 विश्व कप में लगातार तीन शतक लगाकर यह उपलब्धि दोहराई.

कौन-कौन हासिल कर चुका है यह दुर्लभ उपलब्धि?

वनडे क्रिकेट के इतिहास में लगातार तीन शतक लगाना बेहद दुर्लभ रहा है. अब तक सिर्फ 13 खिलाड़ी ही यह उपलब्धि हासिल कर पाए हैं.

इसकी शुरुआत 1982-83 में पाकिस्तान के जहीर अब्बास ने की थी. उन्होंने भारत के खिलाफ ये कारनामा किया था.

सबसे लंबी शतकों की सीरीज का रिकॉर्ड श्रीलंका के कुमार संगकारा के पास है. उन्होंने 2015 विश्व कप में लगातार चार शतक जड़कर इतिहास रचा था.

साउथ अफ्रीका के ही खिलाड़ी क्विंटन डी कॉक भी इस इस सूची में जगह बना चुके हैं. डी कॉक ने 2013 में भारत के खिलाफ लगातार तीन शतक जड़े थे.

इस लिहाज से कोहली अगर विशाखापत्तनम में शतक लगाते हैं, तो वह इस लिस्ट में दो बार नाम दर्ज कराने वाले बेहद दुर्लभ खिलाड़ियों में शामिल हो जाएंगे.

भारत की जीत की कुंजी है कोहली

गौर करने वाली बात यह है कि जब भी कोहली शतक लगाते हैं, भारत के मैच जीतने की संभावना 83% तक बढ़ जाती है. ऐसे में निर्णायक मुकाबले में कोहली की पारी भारतीय टीम के लिए बेहद अहम होगी. सीरीज फिलहाल 1-1 की बराबरी पर है और घरेलू मैदान पर हार से बचने के लिए भारत स्टार बल्लेबाज से बड़ी पारी की उम्मीद होगी.

The draw ceremony was held at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC and unfolded with the spectacle of a major Hollywood style production. Sporting legends Tom Brady, Shaquille O’Neal, Aaron Judge and Wayne Gretzky played key roles in revealing the groups. Former England defender Rio Ferdinand hosted the ceremony and guided the proceedings throughout the night.

Three Leaders

Adding to the grandeur, leaders from the three host nations stepped onto the stage. Ashes 2025-26: Joe Root Urges England To Express Themselves On Crucial Day 3 Of Pink Ball Test Against Australia

England’s first-inning centurion Joe Root urged his teammates to “express themselves in the right way” in an attempt to save the second Test of the five-match Ashes series. Hosts Australia took control of the match with a 44-run lead in the Brisbane Test after bowling out England on 334 and later posting 378/6 with Jake Weatherald, Marcus Labuschagne, and stand-in captain Steve Smith scoring fifties.

“It’s clear we weren’t our best at that phase of the game,” Root told TNT Sports at the close. “But the way that we dragged things back, by managing to take those wickets in a cluster, it shows what the nature of this game can be like, especially with the pink ball.”

In England’s opening innings, Root accomplished just that, finishing undefeated on 138 to score his first Test century in Australia and his 40th overall.

Before Jofra Archer and Root formed a free-wheeling last-wicket partnership of 70 in 9.4 overs, Zak Crawley’s 76 was England’s only other noteworthy score, along with four ducks.

England’s sloppy fielding, too, has been on display with Jamie Smith and Ben Duckett dropping a few sitters. Travis Head was dropped on 3 by Smith behind the wicket, while Duckett in the gully dropped Alex Carey on his first ball of Brydon Carse, followed by Josh Inglis’ catch at third slip on 6.

However, Root suggests that his side has been working hard on their fielding drills in practice sessions at the Gabba.

“It is different from a white ball,” he said. “We get a lot of exposure to [floodlit cricket] in ODI cricket and T20 cricket, but it is slightly different. But you still back yourself. We practice really hard for the five days leading up to it. We made sure we got our work done. Unfortunately, it’s just one of those days where a few didn’t quite stick to hand. We’ve got to make sure we stay confident, we stay up and, when we get those chances later on in the fixture, we’re ready to take them.”

“We’ve obviously got some more work to do tomorrow, but we’re certainly well and truly in this game. More than anything, we’ve got to come out with a huge amount of energy and positivity. We know our best cricket can turn a game very quickly, so we’ll turn up tomorrow with the right attitude. We know that, if we’re anywhere near our best, then very quickly this game can turn in our favour.”

In order to gain a lead in the ongoing Test, Root wants England’s quicks to knock out the hosts’ last four wickets and then perform with the bat.

“If we get things right in the morning, and go about things as a team in the correct fashion, then we can put ourselves in a really strong position on a wicket which looks like it’s plating,” Root said. “It looks like there might be a few cracks to work with later on in the game. But clearly, we’ve got to look at tomorrow morning first and foremost, and get things right there.”

“When we get out there with the bat, the quality that we have and the talent that’s in that dressing room can go out there and express themselves in the right way on that surface to go and get a big score, which could be very tricky batting last on that surface.”

“I’ve got quite a clear plan for how I score my runs,” he added. “I’ve just got to back myself and understand that, if I do that for long periods of time and make good decisions, I’ll be successful.”

सच होगा भारत का 2036 ओलंपिक्स की मेजबानी का सपना! अमित शाह ने कर दिया दावा

भारत को 2030 कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स की मेजबानी मिल चुकी है, जो अहमदाबाद में आयोजित होंगे. अब भारत के केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने दावे के साथ कहा है कि भारत 2036 ओलंपिक की मेजबानी भी प्राप्त करने वाला है. उन्होंने यह बात अहमदाबाद में आयोजित सांसद खेल महोत्सव में कही. अमित शाह ने महोत्सव में उपस्थित लोगों से कहा कि वे और भी बड़े खेलों के आयोजन के लिए तैयार हो जाएं.

ओलंपिक्स 2036 के लिए हो जाओ तैयार…

सांसद खेल महोत्सव में अमित शाह ने कहा, “आप सबको हाल ही में कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स की मेजबानी मिली है. मगर अहमदाबाद के लोगों तैयार हो जाओ, क्योंकि इस शहर में 2036 के ओलंपिक्स भी आने वाले हैं.” बता दें कि यह समारोह नारनपुरा में हुआ, जहां अमित शाह नवनिर्मित वीर सावरकर स्पोर्ट्स कॉम्प्लेक्स में पहुंचे थे.

केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने शुक्रवार से गुजरात की तीन दिवसीय यात्रा शुरू की थी. उन्होंने कहा कि अहमदाबाद 2036 से पहले कई राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर के इवेंट्स की मेजबानी करने वाला है. उन्होंने अपना उद्देश्य स्पष्ट रखते हुए कहा कि उनका लक्ष्य खेलों का ऐसा माहौल तैयार करना और एक ऐसा बुनियादी ढांचा तैयार करना है, जो ओलंपिक्स जैसे बड़े आयोजनों का समर्थन कर सके.

उन्होंने बताया कि अहमदाबाद में किस स्तर पर खेलों के विकास का प्रयास हो रहा है. 800 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से बनाया गया वीर सावरकर कॉम्प्लेक्स इसी का एक उदाहरण है. इसके अलावा उन्होंने मोटेरा स्थित सरदार वल्लभ भाई पटेल स्पोर्ट्स एंक्लेव का भी जिक्र किया.

भारत को खूब सारे मेडल मिलेंगे

अमित शाह ने आत्मविश्वास के साथ कहा, “मुझे विश्वास है कि जब भारत ओलंपिक्स की मेजबानी करेगा, तब भारत पदक विजेता देशों की टॉप-5 सूची में आ जाएगा.” उन्होंने बताया कि 2014 में खेल बजट 800 करोड़ का था, लेकिन अगले 11 सालों में यह बढ़कर 2025 में 4 हजार करोड़ का हो गया है.

गौतम गंभीर के साथ नहीं आए रोहित और विराट, तीसरे वनडे से पहले ये क्या हुआ? यहां जानें

भारत बनाम दक्षिण अफ्रीका दूसरा ODI मैच कल विशाखापत्तनम के एसीए-वीडीसीए स्टेडियम में खेला जाएगा. मुकाबला भारतीय समयानुसार दोपहर 1:30 बजे से शुरू होगा. उससे पहले भारतीय टीम का अभ्यास सत्र हुआ, जिसमें केवल 4 खिलाड़ियों ने हिस्सा लिया. विराट कोहली से लेकर रोहित शर्मा और केएल राहुल भी इस प्रैक्टिस सत्र का हिस्सा नहीं बने.

अभ्यास सत्र में शामिल होने वाले चार खिलाड़ी यशस्वी जायसवाल, तिलक वर्मा, वाशिंगटन सुंदर और नितीश कुमार रेड्डी रहे. हेड कोच गौतम गंभीर के अलावा सपोर्ट स्टाफ के अन्य सदस्य भी सत्र में पहुंचे थे. दरअसल तीसरे वनडे मैच के लिए भारतीय टीम ने कोई अभ्यास सत्र नहीं रखा था, और ये वैकल्पिक सेशन था. इसलिए चार खिलाड़ियों के अलावा विराट-रोहित समेत अन्य सभी प्लेयर्स ने आराम करने का निर्णय किया.

जायसवाल-सुंदर के लिए अहम मुकाबला

दक्षिण अफ्रीका के खिलाफ यह वनडे मैच खासतौर पर यशस्वी जायसवाल और वाशिंगटन सुंदर के लिए अहम होगा. शुभमन गिल की गैरमौजूदगी में यशस्वी जायसवाल ने दोनों मैचों में रोहित शर्मा के साथ ओपनिंग की है, लेकिन 2 पारियों में उनके बल्ले से सिर्फ 40 रन निकले हैं. वनडे टीम में जगह के लिए दावा ठोकने के लिए उनका तीसरे मैच में चलना बहुत जरूरी है.

दूसरी ओर वाशिंगटन सुंदर को रांची में केएल राहुल से ऊपर नंबर-5 पर बल्लेबाजी के लिए उतारा गया था, लेकिन सिर्फ 13 रन बनाकर आउट हो गए. वहीं दूसरे मैच में सिर्फ एक रन बनाने के बाद रनआउट हो गए. सुंदर इस सीरीज में गेंदबाजी में एक भी विकेट नहीं ले पाए हैं. ऐसे में उन्हें भी हर हाल में बेहतर प्रदर्शन करके दिखाना होगा.

भारत की ODI टीम के उपकप्तान श्रेयस अय्यर भी इस सीरीज में नहीं खेल रहे हैं. उनकी जगह नंबर-4 पर ऋतुराज गायकवाड़ को मौका मिला था. वो पहले मैच में जल्दी आउट हो गए, लेकिन दूसरे मैच में 105 रनों की शतकीय पारी खेल मौके को भुनाया है.
